Home Diary — Track Your Household's Daily Services
Public app
The Challenge
Households juggle several small daily services at once — milk delivery, water can deliveries, ironing counts, domestic-helper salaries — usually tracked in memory or scribbled on a wall calendar. Nothing is added up until bill time, and by then half the details are forgotten.
What We Built
Home Diary keeps four separate home ledgers in one app.
- Milk: daily litres logged, with monthly totals and cost calculated automatically
- Water cans: delivery counts tracked the same simple way
- Ironing: tracked per garment type, using your own rates
- Helpers: monthly salary, attendance, absence deductions, advances and net payable, all calculated together
- Show only the ledgers you actually use — no clutter from the rest
- Simple sign-in with security-question recovery, so there’s no email required
- Everything syncs across the whole family’s devices
- An offline fallback keeps it usable even with no signal
The Result
A household’s four separate daily services — milk, water, ironing and helper salaries — now live in one running record instead of four different mental notes. Monthly totals, including a helper’s net payable after deductions and advances, are ready automatically instead of being worked out by hand each month.
